This senior role leads the design, automation, and security of cloud-native infrastructure across AWS (and other cloud platforms). You will manage a DevSecOps team, embed “security by design”, and ensure secure, scalable, and compliant delivery in a regulated (POPIA/GDPR) environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & DevOps

• Design and manage infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Build and maintain containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Automate deployments and improve reliability
• Support incident response and root cause analysis

Security (DevSecOps)

• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning)
• Manage AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Inspector, Security Hub, IAM, KMS)
• Lead vulnerability management and penetration testing
• Implement secure architecture and zero-trust principles
