The Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) is seeking a Destination Development Manager to cover portions of the SWVA – Blue Ridge Highlands and Virginia Mountains Regions. Working with tourism industry partners, the manager will facilitate the development of community-based tourism programs, new products, and tourism-related businesses. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tourism strategic planning, technical assistance, and product development guidance
  • Present to local, regional, state, and federal organizations
  • Provide cooperative marketing assistance to communities and small tourism-oriented businesses
  • Connect tourism industry representatives and small businesses with VTC services
