NHS Highland Public Dental Service currently has an exciting opportunity for a full time Dental Officer to provide services from the two clinics in the beautiful Lochaber area, Fort William and Mallaig.

The Public Dental Service provides care to patient groups who cannot access NHS dentistry via General Dental Practitioners and the post holder will be expected to provide the full range of General Dental Services to these groups including anxious patients, so experience in delivering inhalation sedation is desirable.

Clinical experience of providing treatment to priority group patients and experience of providing routine general dental services is desirable. GDC registration as a dentist and successful listing with the Health Board are essential.
