Position Summary:
The Day Technician is responsible for assisting with the daily operation for some of the auxiliary, non-process-related jobs during the day in a safe and efficient manner. The role includes but is not limited to unloading bulk raw material, carrying out waste management activities on site, transporting materials using forklift and maintaining the site's 5S.
Functional Responsibilities:
Handle bulk raw material unloading and storage
Perform waste management (wastewater handling, coordinate waste collection)
Conduct water sampling for lab analysis
Monitor and log utilities parameters
Operate forklift for material transport
Ensure safe handling of equipment and use of PPE (including respirator)
Perform basic maintenance, housekeeping, and maintain 5S standards
Support dispatch preparation (e.g. labelling finished goods)
Escort contractors in controlled areas
Complete assigned training and participate in CERT
