Project description The Data Architect designs, governs, and evolves the organization's data platform across on-premises and cloud relational database systems. The role owns the end-to-end data architecture — from logical and physical data models through to deployment, performance, security, and migration strategy — with deep hands‑on expertise across Oracle, MySQL, and AWS RDS.
Responsibilities - Define and own the enterprise data architecture: conceptual, logical, and physical data models, standards, and reference patterns. Design and optimize relational database solutions on Oracle, MySQL, and AWS RDS (including Aurora) for performance, scalability, and cost. Lead database migration and modernization initiatives — on‑premises to cloud (lift‑and‑shift and re‑platforming), version upgrades, and heterogeneous migrations between engines.
