**Description:**

**Cytotechnologist**

**Status:** Part time, 20 hours a week

**Shift:** 8 hour days ( 7:30am-4pm) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, additional 8 hours throughout the pay period are flexible

**Location:** Ann Arbor and Livonia

Th Cytotechnologist performs all necessary laboratory procedures pertaining to accessioning, technical preparation of cytologic specimens and initial evaluation of prepared slides from all body sites.

**Required Education**

+ **Have graduated from a school of cytotechnology accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent.**
+ Certified in cytotechnology by a certification agency approved by HHS (ASCP preferred).

**Experience**

+ 1-3 years cytology experience preferred.
