Performs all aspects of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography on all patient populations, as appropriate.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Assists physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath. Lab.
2. Performs post procedure care/groin management including arterial and venous sheath removal.
3. Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on radiologic equipment.
4. Maintains supply inventory.
5. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education:
+ Graduate of an Accredited CVT School with RCIS certification (or obtaining within 1-year of hire) OR licensed Radiology Technologist.
+ Radiology Technologists will be provided a six month training and support.
