Job Function

To ensure and ambassador customs compliance and maintain the company’s accredited status when performing responsibilities and interacting with suppliers, clients and SARS, and to ensure that the correct procedures are followed to achieve operating efficiencies within the department in support to the import and export departments and the company’s obligation to offering a service to its clients. Ensure that Quality Control, Guidance, Training and assistance is provided. Always act within the interest of the organisation.

Key Performance Areas

• Customer requirements are met and exceeded.
• Quality Checking of all bills of entries for submission via EDI and monitoring for final response from Customs.
• Responsible for the verification, accuracy and overall quality of 100% of entries framed including but not limited to forwarding-related information prior to submission to Customs.
