JOB PURPOSE:Ensure existing facilities are well maintained in a safe manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Custodian Supervisor shall:

Be physically skilled and able to address all types of custodial maintenance issues within the school(s).

Facilitate and monitor the following areas of custodian maintenance:

General cleaning and deep cleaning, glass and mirrors, floor work (to include carpet, tile, VCT and other hard surfaces), additional items as they arise.

Manage Third Party Suppliers and Service Providers

Identify & isolate larger problems, meet with contractors, obtain bids.

Supervise entire Day and Night Custodial Teams.

Track and report status of open projects. Provide historical data for analyzing trends.

Track time, mileage, materials, tools.
