Position Summary:
Responsible for the preparation of high quality, palatable and appetizing food for patient/resident and non‐Patient meals. Prepares, portions, and serves food based on food production specifications and in accordance with standardized recipes. Complies with all regulatory requirements including State DOH Long Term Care and JCAHO Standards
Education, License & Cert:
High School graduate (or GED) required Able to read, write and be able to understand written and oral communication.
Experience:
Previous Food Service experience in a healthcare setting desirable, but not required Previous cooking experience desirable, but not required Previous customer service experience desirable, preferably in the food service industry Personal computer skills preferred
