Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for a Pharmacy Technician teacher position that is available at Auburn High School & Christiansburg High School for the school year. This is an 11-month position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach Pharmacy Technician courses to high school students based on current industry standards and state curriculum
• Advise the co-curricular Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA)
• Prepare students for a Board-Approved Industry Credential exam, such as the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the ExCPT (Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians).
• Manage pharmacy lab technology, equipment, and specialized curriculum.
