Job Description
Operates Computed Tomography (CT) equipment. Prepares patients for exam, obtains required images for Physician to make a diagnosis. Assists in expediting patient flow and presents images for physician's diagnosis.

Job Responsibility

1. Prepares patient for examination. * Explains procedure in easy-to-understand terms based on professional knowledge to relieve patient of pre-testing anxiety. * Sets up equipment to administer the proper procedure in a timely fashion. * Ensures consent form for intravenous (IV) contrast materials is obtained. 2. Performs CT procedures including, but not limited to, abdominal, thoracic, neurological, extremities, sub-periosteal implant planning, radiation therapy treatment planning, biopsies, etc. * Prepares patient for exam by placing patient on exam table and positioning within gantry. * Enters patient data and other pertinent information into system. * Calculates number of scans to be ...
