Creeler Operator| Monday- Friday

Position Overview


This position is Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm.


Position Objective : To maintain a constant supply of yarn to the creel. Assist and/or relieve operator as needed and at break times.


Essential Duties (Considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge, and responsibility):


Check lot numbers to ensure that the correct lot is running


Hang and splice in yarn in creel, i.e. spotting, doubling and cutting back the creel.


Remove exhausted tubes from creel.


Place tube caps on running packages.


Maintain the yarn level and cleanliness of the creel throughout the shift.


Make preparations for boxes and tubes to be removed from creel.


Guide LTO in loading cases or boxes .
