Court Registry Officer - District Court, Nelson
We are seeking a Court Registry Officer to support the successful operation of the Court and liaise with multiple stakeholders including members of the judiciary, lawyers, and the public. The role is available as 1 permanent full‑time and 1 fixed‑term (11months) full‑time position.
Responsibilities
- Case management: ensure files are accurate and up‑to‑date, perform data entry and make sound decisions.
- Court taking: run court sessions, open sessions in English and Te Reo Māori, work closely with the Judiciary in the courtroom and in chambers, and handle general court administration.
- Customer service: interact with customers on any court‑related matter via face‑to‑face, phone, or email.
