**Position Purpose:**

Responsible for the delivery of laboratory specimens, mail and supplies between affiliated MercyOne facilities and laboratory customers.

**What you will Do:**

+ Transports laboratory specimens, mail and other materials and/or supplies utilizing excellent customer service skills.
+ Follows established procedures and policies including infection control and bloodborne pathogens.
+ Handles chemicals according to established safety protocols.
+ Meets defined workload productivity standards. Supports and utilizes LEAN principles.
+ Utilizes courier logistical software and devices to track packages and document route
+ Ensures temperature dependent materials are transported at their required storage temperature.
+ Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and courier bags.
