JOB DESCRIPTION:
Implement the district’s comprehensive school counseling program plan to address the unique needs of each student through targeted guidance instruction, personalized advising, and responsive counseling services.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote positive self-image in students. Provide orientation sessions for parents.Provide college day/night, career day/night, and financial aid workshops.Coordinate and/or delivers required legislative awareness activities such as suicide prevention, bullying prevention, digital citizenship, fentanyl poisoning, human trafficking, teen dating violence and other related student safety initiatives.Share information concerning programs available at the campus and throughout the district (e.g., Credit by Examination, Alternative School, Career and Technology Programs) with students.Conduct individual and group counseling....
