THIS IS A TEMPORARY, SUMMER-ONLY POSITION.
As a member of the Camp Joy Staff and under the supervision of the Assistant Supervisor, the Camp Joy Counselor is responsible to assist the Assistant Supervisor in all aspects of the Camp Joy program.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for one or more children for an entire day. This involves feeding, changing clothes (diapers) if needed, moving campers from activity to activity, meeting the child at the bus, and returning the child to the proper bus at the end of the day.Responsible for helping other counselors or campers in the group who may need assistance throughout the day.Participate in all swimming activities.Assist in cleanup at the end of the day.Must assist as requested in record keeping and report writing.Attend all meetings and trainings as required.All other duties assigned by the Assistant Supervisor or...
