The Binghamton City School District is seeking candidates to fill an anticipated Cook position for the 2025-2026 school year.

This is a full-time contractual position working 7 hours per day, 200 days per year. The work involves responsibility for preparing food on a moderate to large scale. Direct supervision is received from a Head Cook or other superior. Performs related duties as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Preparing and cooking food items according to established menus and standardized recipes
+ Assisting with the serving and portioning of meals to students and staff
+ Maintaining proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
+ Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
+ Assisting with general kitchen operations and other related duties as assigned
