SUMMARY: - POSITION INFO: CONVEYANCER (BONDS) Location: Menlo Park - Pretoria Minimum Experience: 5 years post admission Overview Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Bond Registration: Liaising with financial institutions, the buyer, and the transferring attorney to draft, sign, and lodge new mortgage bond documents at the Deeds Office.
Drafting & Reviewing: Preparing mortgage documents, loan agreements, and FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act) documentation for signature by the purchaser.
Bank Liaison: Representing the bank's interests to ensure that the loan is properly secured against the property title before funds are released.
Simultaneous Transactions: Coordinating with Transferring Attorneys (who handle the transfer of ownership) and Cancellation Attorneys (who cancel the seller’s existing bond) to ensure all ...
