Join a leading manufacturer of commercial shelving units, specializing in the creation of innovative solutions for shopping stores. As a Controls Technician, you will play a critical role in overseeing the new automation processes for our expanded shelving line. Your expertise in robotics will be essential in managing and programming the new robotic welding equipment.
Responsibilities

+ Modify and program new robotic equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and debug Fanuc robotic welding equipment.

+ Spend 80% of time on the floor troubleshooting and programming HMI's, PLC's, and Robotics.

+ Allocate 20% of time to office support, including ordering parts, funding requests, clerical duties, and creating basic drawings.

+ Develop, modify, and optimize Fanuc robot programs for welding.

+ Perform robot teaching, touch-ups, and recovery in production and pre-commissioning environments.
