Contract Specialist

Location: Copper Mountain Mine, Princeton, British Columbia.

Reporting to: Superintendent, Materials Management.

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for contract activities, ensuring safe work behaviors, coordination with suppliers, management of RFPs, pricing, negotiations, documentation, and vendor relationships.

Please note that this opportunity is NOT a fly-in-fly-out position.

Key Responsibilities

• Practice safe work behaviors and support the Copper Mountain Mine safety culture through participation in daily and monthly safety meetings and initiatives.
• Provide reports and attend meetings to update on current activities.
• Coordinate, develop and issue RFPs.
• Obtain competitive pricing information from vendors and suppliers through the RFP process.
