Hospice And Palliative Care Nurse

We are looking for an experienced California licensed vocational nurse (LVN) to work on-call and/or continuous care shifts. The LVN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provides nursing and palliative care to assigned hospice patients. The On-Call / Continuous Care Hospice LVN provides intermittent visits and/or shifts of skilled nursing care, performs prescribed medical treatments, including pain management and symptom control, provides nursing observations, provides teaching regarding the expected course of the disease, care techniques and other health measures to the patient, family or other primary caregivers, and participates in the care plan development and implementation with other members of the hospice interdisciplinary team.
