Consultant Psychiatrist - Inpatient Older Persons

This is an exciting opportunity to work for the Mental Health Service Older Persons (MHSOP) inpatient unit. The MHSOP is a 16-bed specialist inpatient unit located on the Kenepuru Community Hospital campus. We work as a multi-disciplinary team including nursing, medical, occupational therapy, clinical psychology, social work and support staff. MHSOP provides specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation interventions in partnership with clients, whanau, primary care and other agencies, primarily focusing on older adults with complex behavioural and psychological needs secondary to a dementia process (BPSD).
