Salary: £113,565 – £150,569 per annum (pro rata)

Main duties of the job

The post holder will primarily work in the West Wing of the John Radcliffe Hospital, with a condition to work at any of the Trust’s Oxford sites. Key responsibilities include:

• Consultant cover on a 1:9 rota for the 17‑bed neuro‑critical care unit


• Developing a perioperative consultant service for the Neurosciences inpatient ward


• Establishing an echocardiography service within the existing Pre‑Operative Assessment service
