Consultant Gastroenterologist, DMH

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and motivated Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our friendly and enthusiastic gastroenterology team. The role offers the opportunity to work within a high quality service which aims to expand its subspecialty interests in IBD and Liver disease, while also welcoming candidates with interest in any gastroenterology or hepatology subspecialty.

The successful appointee will join our existing team of 13 consultants (plus 2 Consultant Endoscopists) to provide inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Endoscopy, and Clinical Nutrition services across the Trust, including University Hospital of North Durham, Bishop Auckland Hospital and Darlington Memorial Hospital.

The post-holder will participate in the consultant of the week on-call rota, including out‑of‑hours GI bleed on‑call or G(I)M on‑call duties.
