SMX is searching for a strong **Construction Surveillance Technician** to support our government client and to lead a team that will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all Marine Corps office spaces in the Pentagon and the Arlington Service Center (ASC). This position is based at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.

Within AR, the Security Programs and Information Management Branch (ARS), is responsible for providing access control requirements and security guidance for renovations and new construction.

**The Construction Surveillance Technician will be responsible for the following:**

+ Inspecting all construction materials, packages, bags, boxes, crates, and vehicles using x-ray equipment and other technical inspection tools.
+ Perform visual inspections of all work performed by uncleared personnel for anomalies and to identify the introduction of clandestine technical devices.
