The Work
In a construction program this size, the schedule is the most important tool we have. If the schedule is wrong, the budget follows. As a Project Scheduler, you are the person who sees through the contractor’s paperwork to find the truth of the project’s progress.

You’ll spend your time independently reading architectural and structural drawings to understand the real scope of the work. When a contractor submits a P6 baseline or a monthly update, you’re the one identifying missing logic, slippage, or critical path issues. This isn't just data entry; it’s forensic work. You’ll perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to determine if a delay has merit and create Earned Value curves to show the team exactly where they stand.
