Responsibilities

Job Summary: As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you'll work as part of a team that exceeds patient expectations through delivery of excellent, accurate, and efficient services. You'll measure, compound, and dispense customized medications using a variety of special equipment, formulas, and techniques.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Compounding Pharmacy Operations:

Receives written, refill, and third-party prescriptions; verifies complete patient information; processes in RxEVO; manages adjudication review

Reviews patient preferences notes (container, flavor, capsule color, etc.) on compound prescriptions

Reviews current and future compound orders to ensure on time and efficient delivery / pickup at correct location

Researches formulations for stability of the compound and the individual ingredients
