About the Role
CATAT, the team that was highly recommended for the Working Together for Better Mental Health at the staff excellence awards, is looking for professionals with a keen interest in working with CYP and their families. The goal is to keep CYP in the community by preventing inpatient admissions and providing proactive support through Tier 4 provision.
Key Pathways
- Admission Avoidance – provide intensive intervention to support mental health needs and prevent hospital admission.
- In‑reach/Outreach – support young people leaving inpatient settings (T4) to adjust back into life in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Consultation and advice to youths and families.
- Enhanced assessments and case formulation.
- Facilitate access to care in the least restrictive environment possible for children & young people in Norfolk & Suffolk.
