Community Safety Worker – 2 year opportunity – Avon Fire and Rescue Service

Summary of role

As our Community Safety Worker you will provide tailored fire safety advice to vulnerable people in the community, communicating sensitively and respectfully during home visits and referring any concerns to your manager or relevant agencies.

Through education, safety information, and the provision of alarms and equipment, you will help reduce fire‑related deaths and injuries and improve overall safety awareness.

This role would be suitable for people who have previously worked in the care industry and those who have had experience working with adults.

This role involves you being out in the community and is a solo delivery role.
