Based in Greymouth on the West Coast - 1.0FTE (40 hours per week) - Permanent position.

Role Overview

As a Community Mental Health Professional (CMHP), you will provide safe, evidence‑based, and culturally appropriate mental health care aligned with Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora – Te Tai o Poutini West Coast values. This includes working with a caseload of service users and contributing to the wellbeing of individuals and their whānau in a unique part of Aotearoa.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload, completing assessments, risk management, and recovery‑focused treatment planning.
• Providing triage, crisis intervention, and brief interventions.
• Undertaking duties under the Mental Health Act as a Duly Authorised Officer (training provided if not current).
