The Isaan region is the poorest region of Thailand, with many people struggling under the weight of debt. This is a long-term role that will involve initiating the team's community development work in Isaan. This role will suit applicants who are excited to invest time in relationships with Isaan people, and who are passionate about working alongside communities to bring the gospel holistically.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Engaging in Thai language studies with the intent on gaining a high level of proficiency

Regularly meeting with community members to gain insight into their issues and concerns

Conducting surveys and gathering data on community needs

Evaluating the neighborhood's requirements to determine appropriate action plans

Liaising with OMS missionaries in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai

Networking with other development ministries across Thailand
