The role

We are looking to appoint a Community Coordinator to support the growth and engagement of the Code Club community in Ireland. Code Club is a global movement of free coding clubs where young people aged 9-16 years old develop the confidence to create with digital technologies. Code Clubs are run by teachers, educators, and volunteers from all walks of life and take place in schools and community settings, like libraries, museums, and maker spaces.

Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, the Community Coordinator will be responsible for raising awareness of Code Club, establishing and maintaining relationships with partners, supporting schools and community venues to establish and run their clubs, and organising training and other events for the Irish community. You will bring fresh ideas to support the growth of the club network, along with a passion for digital making and inspiring our community of volunteers.
