Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Commodity Buyer to join a centralised Procurement team supporting UK manufacturing sites for a 12 Month FTC. This role is based at the UK Head Office.

The Role:

Take ownership of a defined group of commodities, developing and executing strategies that deliver cost savings and value improvements.
Drive supplier performance, ensuring contracts, pricing and commercial agreements achieve the best outcomes.
Negotiate effectively to secure competitive pricing, manage PPV and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance, managing risk and identifying new sourcing opportunities.
