Our client, an award-winning western restaurant group, is looking for an experienced butcher to join their team and expansion project.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with company hygiene procedures, communicating respectfully and professionally with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Stock Controller.
- Check all meat and fish on delivery for quality and quantity.
- Maintain cleanliness of the meat and fish preparation rooms and ensure proper storage of all meat and fish items in freezers and fridges.
- Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef regarding ordering and preparation.
- Follow guidelines and requests from the Chef and F&B Manager efficiently.
- Keep all machines and equipment in good repair and handle with care, reporting maintenance needs promptly.
- Participate in sanitation inspections of your areas.
