Our client is seeking an experienced Programmer / Setter - CNC Turning (Sliding-Head) to join their team in St Leonards-on‑Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional with strong sliding‑head experience to play a key role in producing high‑precision machined components in a modern production environment.

Job type: Full time, permanent
Location: Hastings
Salary: Up to £35,000 p/a
Working pattern: Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-13:00 (39 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Sliding Head CNC Lathes to produce high‑precision components to specification and schedule
• Create CNC programs using CAD/CAM software and manual programming techniques
• Work on Star, Citizen and Tornos Sliding‑Head machines
• Investigate and implement appropriate tooling and workholding solutions
