CNC Machinist
Reports To: QC Supervisor
Job Summary
The CNC Machinist sets up, operates, and troubleshoots CNC milling and/or turning machines to produce precision metal and non‑metal parts. This role ensures accurate setups, program execution, and in‑process quality to meet engineering and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines using programs, setup sheets, tooling lists, and work instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining processes.
- Adjust and edit CNC programs, speeds, feeds, and offsets as needed.
- Monitor machining operations, identify tool wear or process issues, and apply corrective actions.
- Inspect first‑article and in‑process parts to verify conformance to specifications.
