**Job Title: Machinist**

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate and monitor CNC machines to produce parts according to customer specifications.
+ Verify existing programs and modify CNC programs as needed with.
+ Set up machines, including adjusting and changing tooling.
+ Perform one set-up every two weeks, involving a long set-up process to change tooling/inserts.
+ Inspect parts during production using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
+ Perform basic preventive maintenance, such as checking and refilling fluids and monitoring filter status.

**Essential Skills**

+ 4+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
+ Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Knowledge of G & M codes.
