**Description**

Leidos Mechanical Manufacturing is seeking a **CNC Machinist Apprentice** to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems.

Apprentices will learn the following skill sets during the program:

+ Part Layout prior to machining
+ Setup and operate manual milling machines.
+ Setup and operate manual lathe machines.
+ Setup and program, operate CNC Mill and Lathes
+ Conduct general housekeeping and maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Leidos Mechanical Manufacturing Apprenticeship is a competency-based program. During the apprenticeship, the apprentice shall receive work experience and job-related education in all phases of the occupation, including safe work practices, necessary to develop the skill and proficiency of a skilled professional.
