Our client, an aerospace and defense manufacturer in Sterling Heights, is seeking a metal finishing technician to join their team. As a CNC Bridgeport machinist, you will be part of the assembly team supporting production goals. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently, a strong work ethic, and reliability which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title: CNC Bridgeport machinist**

**Location: Sterling Heights, Michigan**

**Pay Range: up to $29/hr**

**Shift:** 1st shift: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Friday 10 hour shifts
2nd shift: 2pm-12:30am Monday-Friday 10 hour shifts
Saturday is mandatory overtime typically 6-8 hours

**What’s the Job?**

+ Set up, operate, and monitor a Bridgeport CNC machine to produce precision parts according to blueprints, drawings, and CNC programs.
+ Load materials, select proper cutting tools, and perform tool offsets and machine adjustments to ensure accurate machining.
