CareFirst runs a **year-round** internship program. The ideal candidate is someone who can work **_throughout the year 15-20 hours in the Spring/Fall and up to 40 hours in the summer._**

The Cloud Architecture & Engineering team designs governs, and operates enterprise Azure cloud platforms, focusing on secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. The team leads infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enforces cloud governance standards, and drives cost optimization initiatives across services. We enable platform engineering capabilities including Kubernetes (AKS), CI/CD automation, and self-service provisioning to accelerate delivery. Additionally, the team delivers automation and AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, enhance reliability, and support modern cloud-native application platforms.
