About the Role

We are looking for a First Surgical Assist Registered Nurse (FSA‑RN) who wants to gain further experience with cardiothoracic to join our cardiothoracic Clinical Nurse Specialist FSAs.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake preoperative assessments and patient, whanau education for those requiring cardiac surgery
• Assisting with cardiothoracic surgery
• Leading endoscopic vessel harvesting
• Supporting perioperative development across the cardiothoracic service
