Job Description

The Clinical Educator will provide leadership and clinical expertise to support quality excellence in patient care by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs to enhance clinical proficiency, quality improvement, and team development.

This role reports to the Manager, Clinical Practice, and collaborates with emergency services leadership for department‑specific activities and clinical initiatives. It intersects with multiple health disciplines and works with other clinical educators across the organization for corporate orientation and corporate initiatives.

Accountabilities

• Promotes excellence within the Emergency Department/Urgent Care Centre through coaching and mentoring of staff.
• Develops, provides, and evaluates educational programs, including orientation, skill certification, continuing education, and career development.
