We are seeking an enthusiastic speech and language therapist to join our acute and community team in East Sussex. The post focuses on dysphagia management within an acute setting and provides protected time for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent assessment and management of patients with dysphagia in acute hospitals.
• Support the development of the B5 rotation Service‑Line Teams (SLTs).
• Offer mentorship and clinical supervision to junior therapists, assistants and students.
• Work alongside specialist clinicians in voice, head and neck cancer, stroke, rehabilitation and neurological conditions.
• Participate in service developments, planning and research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post‑basic dysphagia training completed.
• Experience working independently in an acute clinical environment.
• Strong clinical communication and team‑working skills. <...
