Job Summary:
The Clinical Director of Nutritional Services plans, schedules, coordinates, and supervises the work operations of the Nutrition Services staff in University Hospital System (UH).
Primary responsibilities include:
+ Assigns work and supervises Clinical Dietitians
+ Develops standards and monitors clinical dietetic performance
+ Reviews and updates policies and procedures
+ Implements and maintains cost control procedures
+ Supports recruiting, makes final decision on hiring, and orients staff
+ Interacts with hospital management and professional staff and maintains professional competency and skills required for professional practice
+ Manages UUP state union Clinical Dietitians and liaison in department for Food Service Contract
+ Responsible for reporting on department quality to Nutrition Committee and other hospital committees as needed
