SUMMARY: Under the direction and in collaboration with the department leadership, this position serves as a consultant in the care of inpatient rehab patients and is accountable for coordinating and promoting a continuous learning environment that supports ongoing clinical staff development. The incumbent will collaborate with the leadership team in identifying and reviewing nursing clinical practice and procedures, equipment and processes that will enhance clinical operations and patient care outcomes. The coordinator will determine rehab unit specific learner needs, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency. This position practices within the scope of the Nursing Practice act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Healthcare policies.
