Job Summary

Works collaboratively with all anesthesia staff and department employees. Coordinates department activities in at least one of the following areas: Education, Orientation, Competencies, Research, Equipment, Epic, or Performance Improvement.
Job Duties


+ Monitors, evaluates, and makes recommendations to staff in the Anesthesia Department.

+ Participates in the formulation of CRNA policies and goals as well as policies affecting other departments; communicates and interprets policies, procedures, and regulations to patients, visitor and staff members.

+ Directs individual professional development through mentoring, coaching and educational opportunities.

+ Communicates significant issues on units to Chief CRNA in a timely manner.

+ Assists Chief CRNA by carrying out the process improvement plan and educational plan with staff completing documentation of remediation.
