Check tyre wear status, make tyre damage reports and approvals, update daily and monthly tyre data, prepare tyre movement reports, air and tread thickness, prepare tyre dipping, disposal and casing formulas, obtain workshop equipment/replacement requirements.
Update and analyse daily tyre performance record (e.g. cent per kilometre) for review by Head of Procurement Unit/Head of Depot.
Prepare relevant reports such as tyre stock and pressure reports, re‑treat and disposal reports as required.
Instruct vendors to replace tyres or re‑tread based on reports provided by the Tyre Clerk.
Check, verify and decide whether old tyres should be re‑tread or disposed.
Update record for stock issuance (SI) in Vehicle Maintenance System (VMS) and at bin card.
