The Opportunity

We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a school for two critical terms. This role is perfect for a teacher who enjoys seeing the lightbulb moments that happen during the end of Key Stage 1 and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping a child's early academic journey.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Achievement: Support current Year 2 pupils through their end-of-year assessments with a focus on a low-stress, high-success environment.

Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.

Phonics Expertise: Utilise your knowledge of phonics (Read Write Inc) to bridge gaps in reading and writing.

Transition Management: Lead a robust transition for the incoming Year 2s, ensuring they feel secure, happy, and ready to learn after the summer break.
