Overview

Iron Horse Earthworks Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead crews on a major industrial civil and earthworks project in Port Hope, Ontario.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience supervising civil crews performing excavation, underground utility installation, concrete, grading, and heavy equipment operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews and subcontractors
• Coordinate daily construction activities and work planning
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Coordinate equipment, manpower, and materials
• Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safety requirements
• Communicate with project management, surveyors, and inspectors
• Assist with quality control and daily reporting
